OKC Concert

Have tickets to the OK City concert that was supposed to happen this weekend but unfortunately, the snow a/k/a blizzard in NY postponed the show until later in March. I cannot wait to see Mr. Webb perform. I have loved his songs all my life but have never had the opportunity to see him live and this is on my bucket list! He, and another favorite of mine, Gordon Lightfoot, are two of the most prolific songwriters of my generation. Have one question...is it just me or did the name Susan appear in a number of his earlier works? I always thought he could have appeared as Romeo in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet when he was younger. He could have given Leonard Whiting a run for his money in the Zefirelli version. Got teased about MacArthur Park being my favorite song in high school by guys I would date...because of the length and that line "all the sweet cream icing flowing down"...this was a test of my date's intelligence...if they couldn't get the gist of the song, they wouldn't understand me either...a sensitivity test. Here's hoping for great weather in OKC in March. Thanks for all the beautiful music and for taking such good care of the talent that God bestowed upon you!
